The story of Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto is based on the a family from Punjab who is lead by the father, Gangadeep, along side his wife Kanwal and his five daughters. The daughter that stands out the most is Preeto, who is like the son in the family that takes care of everyone in the family. She takes care of her parents as well as her older and younger sisters.
